HOMEMADE KORMA

Here’s the perfect answer to making your take-away a little healthier! Here’s the recipe to Dave’s homemade korma.

What You Need:

1 Onion (chopped)

2 Cloves Garlic (chopped)

Small piece fresh Ginger (chopped)

4 tbsp Mild Curry Powder

2-3 Chicken Breasts (cut into small chunks)

2 Chicken Stock Cubes

150g Fat-free Greek Yoghurt

Fresh Coriander (chopped)

What To Do:

Pop the onion, ginger and garlic into a small food processor and blitz to make a paste (this paste can be used in so many different dishes from curries to stir fries! A lovely little one to remember.)

In a large pan heat an oil of your choice (just a sprinkle) and add paste. Cook for 5 minutes over a medium heat stirring constantly.

Add the curry powder and cook for a further 2 mins.

Add the diced chicken and the stock, mix well and cover and simmer for 15 mins (or till the chicken is cooked through).

Remove from heat and stir in the yogurt.

Serve with rice of choice and the freshly chopped coriander.
